My Health Journey

Upon birth, I stopped breathing. My mother was high school math teacher and my father worked in a shop for jewelry repairs. I started experiencing development issues about age 7.

Family history includes Chrohn’s Disease, Diabetes, Cancer, Depression, Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Arthritis, and Autism. Occupations include technology, civil engineering, automotive upholstery/manufacturing, jewelry/metalsmith, lumberyard, hospitals, education, and psychiatrist.

Around this age, in the late 1990s I was hospitalized at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital for issues with joints and unable to walk for a week. Doctors told my mother I was more likely to develop Rheumatoid Arthritis but she didn’t tell me that.

In 2003, I was admitted for the second time to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. I received a bunch of misdiagnosed psychiatric illnesses, including Eating Disorder NOS (Not Otherwise Specifed). No other illness or test was conducted to rule out other issues. All that mattered was what the head physician wanted to specialize in and find- eating disorders.

The questions you ask determine what you find.

Preceding this hospitalization, I started going to nail salons and got acrylic nails. I went to hair salons for treatments. I played in my dad’s jewelry shop, doing small repairs with a bunch of toxic particles.

The next year after being hospitalized, I started a career in Agriculture up until 2016, surrounded by questionable chemicals and unsafe practices.

In 2021, I was unable to walk again and received inconclusive results with two different rheumatologists. There are currently no lab testings to confirm autoimmune disease and many doctors lack ability to diagnosis them. This includes Vanderbilt Hospital.

In 2021, after I was mislabeled with psychiatric disorders for nearly 20 years (which really slows your sense of self-worth and accomplishment), a psychologist conducted the Autism Spectrum Disorder exam and confirmed development disorders: Sensory processing, vestibular and proprioceptor challenges, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, OCD. I also developed PTSD through various experiences.

Using my scientific and academic background, I started doing my own research. I am now pursuing a law degree.

In November of 2025, I had respiratory issues that led to the ER. The tech during a CT scan revealed Median arcuate ligament syndrome (MALS), which mimics symptoms of anorexia nervosa.

I’ve used M-A-C eyeshadow since about 2010. In 2019, I was an ambassador at World Pride NYC. The main ingredient is talc which recently has been linked to asbestos, respiratory problems, and cancer.

I started switching out household chemicals, cosmetics, and personal care products. My findings are recorded on this website.
